SKAL Hong Kong salutes top female talent
Susan Field, CEO of Cohn & Wolfe-impactasia has been named Business Leader of the Year at SKAL International Hong Kong’s annual Celebrating Women in Business awards.
The awards, now in their fourth year, showcase and reward the industry’s female talent and leadership.
SKAL said this year’s accolade recognised Field’s commitment "to mentoring and coaching young professionals, as well as her entrepreneurial skills in founding, building, and finally selling her public relations agency, impactasia".
SKAL’s Hong Kong chapter, one of the world’s largest, has around 200 active members.
SKAL ‘s Hong Kong President, Matthew Arnold, who led the judging panel, said, "Despite her commitment to her business, Susan has also dedicated much personal time to coaching and mentoring many young people seeking careers in tourism and PR."
Also honoured in the awards were Tina Chow, manager, environmental affairs, HK Disneyland, who was named Unsung Hero; and Connie Chan, manager-Chin Chin Bar, Hyatt Regency HK, who picked up the award for Rising Star.
