British Airways has given skiers a boost with new short-haul routes from Gatwick to European ski resorts.
During the winter 2014 season, the airline will fly twice weekly, from December 20, to Friedrichshafen in Germany and Grenoble in France.
Colm Lacy, British Airways’ head of commercial at Gatwick, said: "Skiing is a major must for many of our customers, so we couldn’t be happier to give them even more destinations to choose from to hit the slopes.
"These two new services to Friedrichshafen and Grenoble, added to our existing flights to ski resorts in Geneva, Turin and Innsbruck, will boost our already impressive leisure schedule from Gatwick, offering our customers further choice between winter sun or Alpine sports."
The Gatwick to Friedrichshafen service will depart at 7.20am on Saturdays and 8.25am on Sundays. The return Friedrichshafen to Gatwick flights will leave at 10.50am on Saturdays and 11.50am on Sundays.
The Gatwick to Grenoble service will depart Gatwick at 9.35am on Saturdays and 8.25am on Sundays. The Grenoble to Gatwick flights will depart at 1.10pm on Saturdays and at midday on Sundays.
