Snake spooks passengers on United flight
A slithering stowaway caused panic on a United Airlines plane which just landed in Newark.
A snake was spotted in the cabin, causing screams from passengers in business class.
They began pulling their feet up onto seats as the snake slithered down the aisle, one passenger told News 12 New Jersey.
It happened as United Flight 2038 from Tampa taxied to the gate at Newark,
Port Authority police officers came aboard to remove the snake safely without incident.
It is unclear how it got onboard the plane.
It was later identified as a Garter Snake which is not poisonous and relatively harmless.
