Sneak preview: The View from The Shard
The View from The Shard opens to the public on February 1, 2013.
TravelMole US got a sneak preview from the top of Western Europe’s tallest building, The View from the Shard. Visitors will have to shell out 25 pounds a piece to get to the top (close to $50.00).
Renzo Piano’s controversial 1016 foot building towers over London’s skyline, dwarfing Norman Foster’s "Gherkin" building and dominating a skyline dotted with historic sites like Tower Bridge and the Tower of London.

What do you think? Do you love the audacity and ingenuity of The Shard or do you think it mars a historic skyline?
