Sofitel Fiji gala launch
Fijian Prime Minister, Laisenia Qarase, is confirmed as the guest of honour to attend the official launch of Denarau Island’s first new international resort in 20 years, the five-star Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa, on Saturday December 17.
Sofitel Fiji General Manager Paul Stevens says the Prime Minister will be welcomed to the Resort with a traditional ceremony followed by gala dinner event to celebrate the milestone.
“Accor Asia Pacific is very excited to be extending its relationship and interests in Fiji with the opening of this, our newest Sofitel resort in the Pacific region,” he said.
“With the launch of the Sofitel Fiji resort & Spa we are looking forward to working with all sectors of the travel industry and strengthening our partnerships in Fiji to assist building the market for this beautiful destination even further.”
With its superb range of facilities, white sand beach frontage, vast swimming pool and comprehensive spa centre, Sofitel is set to add a new dimension to Fiji tourism.
