Something Active – Holiday Ideas on the Web
Somethingactive.com is a new website providing holiday inspiration for people looking for more than a beach holiday.
Quite often these days, activity holiday sites are geared towards the super energetic or the thrill seekers but somethingactive.com is aiming for a different audience. The attractive, easy to use site contains information on a variety of holiday ideas in four different categories – something energetic, something indulgent, something relaxing and something else! (Just to reassure you -the activities in the energetic category are within most people’s reach.) There are also a number of featured locations and opportunities for users to contribute their content in “Have your Say†and The Gallery. You can search within activities and locations for holidays, accommodation and relevant services and you can even create your own notepad on the site to store the information you want to hang on to.
Mandy Moore, one of the founders of somethingactive.com said: “Researching holiday ideas on the web can be a time-consuming process. Navigating your way through all of the information and narrowing it down to what’s relevant to you is not always easy. We wanted to create a site which would have all the information you need in one place, be easy to use, great to look at and which would make planning your holiday a pleasure.â€
