Tuesday, 18 Mar, 2016 0
Sister companies Sophia’s Travel and the Jewish Travel Agency have unveiled details of a new travel agent study-tour to the Baltic States of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.

The 8 night/9 day trip takes place May 5-13, 2016, and marks the 25th anniversary of the nations’ independence from the former Soviet Union.

The Jewish heritage focused tour will visit major tourist sites in each of the countries’ historic capitals and beyond.

Highlights include the Jewish Quarter in Vilnius, Riga’s ‘Art Nouveau’ District and Ghetto Museum, and Tallinn’s famous old town.

The FAM tour also visits the Lithuanian Baltic seaside resorts of Klaip-—da, Nida and Palanga.

According to Sophia Kulich, owner of Sophia’s Travel, agents will ‘come out with the know-how to sell this rich, under-rated destination, especially on this important anniversary year.’

Six to twelve agents are sought to come on the trip.

The cost per travel agent, group tour planner, and companions, based on a minimum of six people, is $2500 not including airfare.

Agents can claw back costs of the trip with 20% reimbursement for each new booking through Sophia’s Travel with a minimum value of $2,000, effective from June 1, 2016 through June 1, 2017.
