Southwest says sorry with free reward points
Southwest Airlines customers impacted by mass flight cancellations will get free reward points as a peace offering.
The airline will gift 25,000 frequent-flier points to travelers stranded by the meltdown.
CEO Bob Jordan wrote to customers that the points are worth over $300.
They won’t expire and there are no blackout dates.
Southwest canceled thousands of flights each day during the holidays.
It is now finally getting back to normality.
