Spirit Airlines appoints VP for in-flight services

Spirit Airlines has named Lania Rittenhouse as vice president, in-flight experience.
 
Rittenhouse leads the company’s in-flight services team and brings nearly 20 years’ experience in hospitality.
 
Her previous senior roles include vice president, product development at Carnival Cruise Line and vice president of hotel operations at Norwegian Cruise Line.
 
"Her wealth of knowledge will help transform our in-flight customer experience, redefining our service level standards while focusing on the development, growth and success of our team," said John Bendoraitis, Spirit Airlines’ chief operating officer.
 
Most recently Rittenhouse was president of independent passenger ship management company FleetPro Ocean.
 
She also previously held the post of Cayman Islands director of tourism.
 
"I’m thrilled to join the Spirit team and take on this exciting new challenge. The company’s incredible growth and innovative business model make this role an opportunity of a lifetime," Rittenhouse said.
