Spirit Airlines launches spring break seasonal flights
Spirit Airlines is bringing back spring break seasonal flights to 15 destinations.
The spring break getaway flights are open for sales and launch on April 15 and 16.
They comprise popular beach spots as well as big city destinations like Atlanta and Miami.
Additionally, Floridians looking to get away as the spring break crowds arrive, have options to jet overseas.
Spirit is increasing flights from Fort Lauderdale to Cancun, Guatemala City, San Juan, Santiago and Santo Domingo.
“As South Florida’s hometown airline, we’re excited to give our Fort Lauderdale and Miami guests even more options for a vacation away from home during the busy spring break season,” said Andrea Lusso, VP of Network Planning.
Spirit’s domestic seasonal spring break schedule includes:
Atlanta – Chicago 12x weekly and to Philadelphia daily, Boston to Baltimore and Detroit, Las Vegas to Chicago daily, Miami to New Orleans and Pittsburgh to Myrtle Beach.
The airline is going through its second financial restructuring after a couple of years of uncertainty following a failed merger attempt with JetBlue.
