SRS-WORLD HOTELS launches new portal for agents
SRS-WORLD HOTELS launched a new Web portal tailor-made for travel agents.
“Be Connected,” which is part of a broader travel agent marketing campaign, is password protected. It requires an e-mail address and IATA number for access.
The site at http:///srs-worldhotels.net/travelagency has various information, including a new familiarization rate and details on commission payments.
“Travel agents touch approximately 65% of the business being booked through our reservation systems to our hotels,” said Tom Griffiths, vice president, SRS-WORLDHOTELS, the Americas.
Mr Griffiths said the two key elements of the “Be Connected” campaign include a new method for booking travel agent rates and familiarization rates at featured properties to encourage agents to book the property.
