St Regis Mexico City appoints chief millennials officer

Highlighting the importance of the demographic, the St Regis Hotel Mexico City is the first to create a management position focused entirely on the millennial market.
 
Alejandra Ramirez, 26, has been appointed as the first chief millennials officer for the hotel.
 
Bernard de Villele, director general at the hotel says more than half of the hotel’s workforce is in the millennial age range and millennials make up about 32% of its guests.
 
"As we look into the future of our hotel, identifying the best practices to lead our millennial associates will be key to The St. Regis Mexico City as we continue to represent the best address in this city" said de Villele. 
 
"We are inspired every day by how this particular generation creates new, unique, and innovative ways for the hotel to engage with our youngest guests on a personal level."
 
In this new role Ramirez will ensure the hotel caters to and drives engagement with the millennial market and she will oversee best practices among the millennial workforce at the hotel.
 
Ramirez previously served as talent acquisition manger at the hotel for the last three years.
