STA standardises global web presence
Youth travel firm STA Travel has revamped and standardised its global web presence.
The organisation has eliminated the need for multiple systems by using a content management solution provided by specialist provider RedDot Solutions.
The RedDot CMS has enabled STA to give its websites a unified look and feel in the UK, Australia, US and Canada while launching local language sites for Germany, Switzerland and Austria, with others to follow.
As part of the upgrade, content from partner travel sites such as Lonely Planet, What’s on When and Off Exploring is available for customers to preview destination information on STA sites.
STA global webmaster Craig Hepburn said: “To achieve online brand consistency we had to migrate to a single global content management infrastructure. Out staff members have found it extremely easy to use, in particular our ‘product owners’ who are responsible for the marketing of individual travel products. Getting content online quickly is also no longer a problem and this is votal for driving online sales.”
