Stansted airport bank holiday strike called off
A planned strike by baggage scanner staff at Stansted Airport over the bank holiday weekend has been called off.
The GMB union said its members had accepted an improved pay offer following talks with employer Mitie on Thursday.
Following consultation with staff, the offer was accepted and the strike action threat has now been withdrawn.
The strike had been due to take place over four days from 23 August.
