Stansted gains extra Dusseldorf flight
Air Berlin is raising frequency between Stansted and Dusseldorf in the new year.
Germany’s second largest airline is to add a fourth daily service on the route on weekdays from February 2.
A twice daily connecting flight from Stansted via Dusseldorf to Dresden will also start from December 1.
UK and Ireland country manager Titus Johnson said: “Dusseldorf has become Air Berlin’s most important hub by providing UK passengers with easy connections and access to major German, European and international destinations with exceptionally fast transit times.
“The fourth daily frequency will offer travellers from UK the flexibility of flying at convenient times throughout the day.â€
Fares on the route start at £24 one-way.
