StarLux pushes back Cebu flight launch
New Taiwan startup StarLux Airlines is pushing back the launch of Taoyuan-Cebu flights.
It will now start flying to Cebu on July 1.
It was forced to postpone the launch due to the Philippines imposing a ban on Taiwanese visitors to help stem the spread of the covid-19 virus.
The original launch date was in early April.
Customers with tickets booked can claim a full refund or change to other destinations.
StarLux officially launched last month and flies to Penang, Malaysia and Da Nang in Vietnam.
It also serves Macau but these flights have now been postponed until March 28.
