Sting in the tale for Cornwall
Just three weeks after media madness over reported sightings of two great white sharks off the Cornish coast, there are warnings of another dangerous sea-faring creature in the region – potentially fatal jellyfish.
A Portuguese Man-o’-War has reportedly been washed up on the beach in St Ives and experts warn others could follow.
Stings from the creature can cause anaphylactic shock and can be fatal.
