Strike-free BA at Gatwick set for bank holiday rush
The airline’s 1,200 cabin crew at Gatwick have ignored Unite’s strike calls meaning that flights from the UK’s second busiest airport have been unaffected.
BA has a total of 3,000 Gatwick-based staff and operates to 37 European and domestic destinations and 13 long haul points.
BA’s Gatwick general manager Alan Peever said: “Our operations are at full throttle this weekend as thousands of families take advantage of the half-term holiday.
