Sun Princess reveals west coast itinerary
FREMANTLE – Princess Cruises’ superliner Sun Princess will return to Western Australia in May 2010 for its biggest ever season, with six cruises on offer including a new odyssey to Asia.
Departing Fremantle on August 15, 2010, the 30-night journey will sail to Bali, Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, Cambodia and Brunei.
Sun Princess will also call at four ports in Vietnam – Da Nang, Hanoi, Nha Trang and Ho Chi Minh City.
Other features of Sun Princess’ new 2010 program include:
– three departures of the ship’s Treasures of South East Asia cruise, which has been extended to 17 nights to include Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Langkawi, Phuket and Singapore as well as a call to Geraldton on the WA coast.
– two 21-night South East Asia Explorer cruises visiting Geraldton, Bali, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok as well as Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam and Sihanoukville in Cambodia.
Sun Princess will also offer two of its Northern Explorer cruises across Australia’s Top End as she cruises to and from Fremantle, including Princess Cruises’ first ever itinerary from Queensland – a 15-night voyage from Brisbane to Fremantle.
Departing Brisbane on April 29, 2010, the voyage will include a visit to Bali as well as calls at Townsville, Port Douglas, Darwin, Broome and Geraldton.
The 77,000-tonne Sun Princess, which carries 1950 passengers, is the biggest ship ever to be based in Western Australia. It has 975 cabins – including more than 400 with private balconies
