Sunshine State tops for US meetings
Florida tops the list of most requested destinations in the US for the global meetings industry says event management organization Pacific World.
The firm released its second Destination Index rankings which puts the Sunshine State first, followed by Arizona and the city of San Diego.
Pacific World said Florida’s attraction lies in its tropical climate and its well established infrastructure particularly in Miami, with experience of managing CSR team building events as well as a wide choice of meeting and eating venues.
The Destination Index showed growing demand for incentives, meetings and sport events with Arizona gaining in importance as a destination for pharmaceutical meetings and attracting more interest due to the 201 Super Bowl.
Beside the top three choices in the US, Pacific World ranked Italy, South France and UAE as the top three event destinations in the EMEA.
In Asia, South Korea, Indonesia and Hong Kong took the top three places.
Pacific World’s Destination Index rankings are based on over 5,000 event requests received worldwide and post event results and feedback.
