Sunvil pushes tailor-made Latin America
Expedition cruises, a coach tour of Brazil and an escorted tour of Peru have been added to Sunvil’s 2005 Latin America brochure.
The specialist operator is focusing on individually tailored itineraries in the new programme which covers Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guatemala and Peru.
Three, four or seven-night cruises to Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego are included in the brochure for the first time with departures on the 129-passenger expedition cruise ship Mare Australis. Cruise-only prices start at £525 per person based on two sharing for three nights in April.
The coach itinerary covers north-east Brazil from Salvador to Recife with prices starting at £213 for seven nights in three-star accommodation
The 10-day escorted tour of Peru starts at £1,880 including flights to Lima via Madrid and features Lake Titicaca and Machu Picchu.
Sunvil Latin America product manager Lloyd Boutcher described the programme as offering freedom and flexibility to clients “who want to experience the local culture and get a feel for each place rather than buy an unimaginative and inflexible ‘off the peg’ trip or just lie by a pool”.
He added: “We have included many more suggested itineraries, all of which have been tailor-made for clients in the past and have proved very successful. These give people a very clear idea of what ground it is possible to cover over a given period of time.”
