Super Bowl-style luxury
With the Super Bowl looming ahead this weekend, prices are sometimes no object in Miami. For example:
Ø Room rates at Setai start at $950 in the winter season.
Ø Small suites (less than 500 square feet) at the newly built Regent South Beach start at $550.
Ø A two-hour customized spa treatment at the Canyon Ranch Living Hotel goes for $295, without tip.
Ø A not untypical price for an appetizer of raw bluefin tuna is $22.
Ø Visitors can even book a bedroom at Gianni Versace’s South Beach Palazzo for $1,000 and up or even sleep in the slain designer’s own bedroom for $4,000.
