Super Break brand bought by discount deals site
Discount deals site Wowcher has bought the Super Break brand from administrators KPMG for an undisclosed amount.
The sale is understood to include the collapsed city break specialist’s intellectual property and website.
Currently, the Super Break URL, superbreak.com, diverts visitors to the Wowcher Travel Offers page, which includes city breaks, short breaks, spa offers, theatre deals and Harry Potter breaks.
Super Break went into administration in August following the collapse of its parent company Malvern Group.
Wowcher marketing manager Salman Dean said: “Wowcher is pleased to announce that it has acquired the Super Break brand from administrators, KPMG; a brand with a large synergy close to Wowcher’s own travel offerings.”
