Superbreak aiming for half a million online sales
Superbreak is expected to break the half a million barrier in online sales this year, the operator has said.
Internet marketing manager David Ranby said the growth is rapidly transforming the short break specialist from a “brochure-based company with a web-presence to a web-based company with a brochure.”
“For four of the past five years we have seen triple digit growth in online sales and this year we could see 500,00 online bookings,” Ranby told TravelMole.
His prediction came as improvements were made to the functionality of the website which he claimed was rapidly improving conversion rates.
Calendar selection, speed, navigation and a clearer explanation of prices have all helped create a more user-friendly system. Ranby estimated the improvement in conversion rates has so far secured another 2,000 sales.
