Superferry launch delayed
SeaFrance has delayed the launch of a new superferry on the Dover-Calais route.
The vessel SeaFrance Berlioz, a sister ship to the 1,900-passenger Rodin, was due to be unveiled in Calais on March 2 and enter service on March 11.
But the arrival of the 32,000-tonne ferry has been delayed by two weeks.
The introduction of Rodin in 2001 enabled SeaFrance to offer Dover-Calais crossings in 70 minutes, faster than rival traditional ferries.
