Surrey agency ceases trading
Surrey-based travel company Flights and Fly has ceased trading.
The company, based in New Malden, traded under the names of Cheaplights360, City Breaks, Dial and Fly, Fare Advisor, Fare Comparison and Trip Makers under the websites www.dialandfly.co.uk and www.flightsandfly.co.uk .
The websites says the company sells ‘competitive discounted worldwide travel’ including flights, hotels, holidays, travel insurance and Hajj packages.
The Civil Aviation Authority said it is still trying to establish the numbers of customers affected but expects it’s only a small number.
It said the company was licensed under the Air Travel Organisers’ Licensing (ATOL) scheme but may also have sold flights that were not covered by its ATOL.
"The CAA is working to collate information and will publish further information for consumers shortly," it added.
