Sweatiest city to visit in the US? No sweat
Phoenix earned the dubious achievement of sweatiest city in the US. But Miami was named most uncomfortable because of its mix of humidity and heat.
Procter & Gamble Co. studied 100 cities in search of the dubious distinction. Phoenix has now won three years in a row.
The study estimates the amount of sweat a person of average weight and height produces walking around for an hour in the average high temperature of particular cities in the summer.
Phoenix won because an individual in three hours can produce enough sweat to fill an Olympic-sized swimming pool.
