Swiss resort completes refurbishment
Swiss resort Waldhaus Flims Alpine Grand Hotel and Spa is ready to open for the 2017/18 season following a complete refurbishment.
Waldhaus Flims consists of the five-star Grand Hotel, the four-star Villa Silvana and the four-star Chalet Belmont guest houses.
It has just completed a £33 million refurbishment of the hotels, three on-site restaurants and bars, its 3,000-square-metre spa, kids club and public areas, including a new après-ski bar called the Summit.
The Grand Hotel was reopened in December 2016, while refurbishment work continued on Villa Silvana and Chalet Belmont.
The Flims resort connects to both Laax and Falera, providing 224km of slopes, four snow parks, and one of the most reliable regions in the world for snow.
With an hour’s flight time to Zurich from London, followed by a 60-80 minute transfer, Flims is easily accessible from the UK.
Lifts open in November 1 for weekends, with daily service commencing from the December 2.
