Sydney commuters get a free ride to work for Christmas
Sydneysiders sick of the daily trek to work, take note, as free limousine rides to workplaces in the lead up to Christmas are up for grabs for a lucky few commuters courtesy of Australia’s leading online car hire company Vroom Vroom Vroom [http://www.vroomvroomvroom.com.au/].
Richard Eastes, Australian General Manager of Vroom Vroom Vroom, said that with all the hype surrounding Sydney’s public transport system and the traffic on the roads, the promotion provided an opportunity for some festive fun whilst getting people in the right mood leading up to Christmas.
“For many people Christmas is undoubtedly one of the most stressful times of the year.” “We hope we can help a few people out, put a smile on their face, and hopefully start their day in the right direction – even though we are taking them to work,” said Mr Eastes.
In the mornings of each working day for the next two weeks, lucky patrons at the some of the most crowded bus stops and wharfs in Sydney will see the white chauffeur driven Ford LTD and a Vroom Vroom Vroom representative will give away free lift gift ‘tickets’ at the location, and choose one lucky person at random who will then be chauffeured to their workplace in style.
Daily commuters leaving the city at the end of business will also get the opportunity to ride home in comfort, with the limousine picking up people from random bus stops in the city during the evening peak times.
“This is a fun, easy, effective way for people to reach their destination. Vroom Vroom Vroom prides its self on this style of service all year round,” said Mr Eastes.
“It will be a bit of a lottery as to where we stop and pick people up. Victoria Road going into the city traditionally has some of the busiest bus stops in Sydney, but so does the Bondi to city route, so we could be here or there.” “And in the evenings, there’s always queues of people trying to get out of the city.” “People will just have to keep an eye out.”
