Tara Palmer-Tomkinson’s fury at Heathrow
Tara Palmer-Tomkinson was arrested by armed police after being refused access to a first-class lounge.
The 42 year-old was handcuffed by police at Heathrow and led away after swearing and tearing out her hair extensions in fury, reports the Sun.
She had been due to fly out to Klosters ski resort in Switzerland on Saturday to celebrate her birthday.
It is believed she was cautioned and released without charge.
The arrest was filmed with Miss Palmer-Tomkinson – the goddaughter of Prince Charles – arguing with a male and female police officer on the video.
It is believed the socialite, who had a business class ticket, was stopped from entering British Airways’ first-class lounge.
Miss Palmer-Tomkinson told the Sun that she had not been drinking at the time, claiming a panic attack led to her behaviour.
She said: "I was not drunk, there was no disorderly; I was cautioned and I saw a doctor, they were nice to me.’ She flew out to Switzerland last night."
