Tasmanian Travel Centre Staff looking for new jobs
The Tasmanian Government sadly recently announced the closure of its excellent Tasmanian Travel Centres in Sydney and Melbourne effective on July 28.
Maree Fox George the National Retail Manager for Tourism Tasminia, based at the Carrington Street office in Sydney office has contacted The Mole seeking assistance in securing new roles for her excellent staff in Sydney and Melbourne.
Maree said, “I have ten extremely capable staff in each location looking for new roles, in addition to some who are looking at moving back to Tasmania, so they will need to find roles there”.
She added, “Most are trained in Calypso, have excellent personal skills and would be valuable employees either in a travel agency or wholesaler role or in sales, admin support and other roles in the travel and tourism industry”.
Maree would be very grateful if TravelMole subscribers could keep this in mind and let her know if any potentially suitable staff positions are available or are likely to be become available in the near future in Sydney, Melbourne or Tasmania.
