Tauck adding new family packages

Saturday, 11 Oct, 2007 0

Tauck is adding four new programs to its Tauck Bridges portfolio of escorted family travel packages.

The new US offerings include a 7-day “Canadian Rockies Family Adventure” (from $2,520 plus air) and “Patriots of America,” an 8-day exploration of Philadelphia, Hershey, Gettysburg, Williamsburg and Washington, DC (from $1,945 plus air).

“The collection of Bridges trips has historically been among the fastest growing segments of Tauck’s business since the launch of the family itineraries in 2003,” says the company. Year-over-year bookings for Bridges itineraries increased an average of 16% in 2007.

“The coming year looks to be equally successful, and preseason bookings are showing robust double-digit growth for 2008,” Tauck says.

Besides adding itineraries, Tauck has also enhanced its existing itineraries for 2008.

Tauck’s entire 2008 collection of over a dozen Bridges family trips on four continents is highlighted in a new 68-page brochure currently mailing to agents and consumers.
