Tauck adding two new ships for 2027
Tauck is adding two more new river ships to its fleet in time for the 2027 season.
It comes as two new ships also launch in 2026.
Overall, it represents a doubling of capacity on the Douro and 50% more in France compared to 2025.
“The enthusiasm for our river cruising experiences has been extraordinary,” said Tauck CEO, Jennifer Tombaugh.
“Guests appreciate the intimate atmosphere fostered by our ‘small is big’ philosophy, particularly in high-demand destinations like the Douro and France.”
The new ships will have resort-style sun decks with swimming pools, full-service bars lounges.
More than three-quarters of cabins are at least 225 square feet in size, and include Category 5 Tauck Suites on the upper deck.
The Seine river ship will feature The Retreat wellness complex housing a fitness centre and massage treatment area.
The 80-metre Douro river ship features Arthur’s casual dining restaurant, with wraparound river views.
