Teleticket sold to Cadogan parent
Seat-only specialist Teleticket has been acquired by Cadogan Holidays and GB Airways parent the Bland Group for an undisclosed sum.
Teleticket will retain its senior management team and the board of directors will be strengthened by the addition of three Bland Group directors.
Bland Group managing director James Gaggero said: “We are delighted to have acquired Teleticket particularly as the skills and experience of the company’s management team are an excellent addition to the Bland Group.”
Teleticket has operated for 10 years as a flight-only operator to destinations across Europe, including the Canaries, Spain, Greece, Cyprus, Turkey and Egypt and most recently Cape Verde.
The company was awarded 65th place in the Sunday Times Virgin Atlantic Fast Track 100. This was the second successive year the flexible seat only operator appeared in the league table of Britain’s fastest-growing private companies.
Managing director Neil Chapman said: “Teleticket had reached a crucial stage of evolution and the new ownership of the company provides the opportunity for us to springboard this development.
“To become part of a group, which has such a pedigree and has been trading since 1810, is great news for our staff, our customers and our future.”
