Tempo Holidays to add India and Sri Lanka

Tempo Holidays will add India and Sri Lanka to its 40-country portfolio, the wholesaler announced today.

Tempo Product Manager, Nigel Loveday, a fourth generation of a British Raj family, has created the India program which features Tempo’s full range of ground product for city and regional experiences.

National Sales Manager, Mark Johnson said India was a natural extension to Tempo’s other exotic destinations, the Middle East and Latin American.

“We will be offering standardised and tailored itineraries for our discerning FIT customer base, and Nigel’s first hand knowledge of both India and Sri Lanka has been critical to the program’s development,” he said.

As well as Tempo’s hallmark 3 days “Taste of” packages for Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai and Colombo, Tempo will offer a full product complement ranging from tours in private cars with driver/guide, Rajasthan in depth, forts and palaces, British Hill Stations, tiger sanctuaries, Palace on Wheels rail packages, intercity express rail, and backwater cruising to Kochi in Kerala, (formerly Cochin).

Several “seat-in-coach” tours will also be included in the program.

Tempo expects to release its program in late June for the season commencing October 1.
