Tempo’s pilgrimage to Lourdes

SYDNEY – Tempo Holidays has a two-day package by train from Paris to the Christian pilgrimage market town of Lourdes in southern France.

Product manager Eric Langen said the package was easy to sell because it combined pre-arrangements for essential travel-hotel-meals with leisure time to experience the sanctuaries and the grotto where the Virgin Mary appeared to 14-year-old Bernadette Soubirous in 1858.

The package is priced from A$758 per person twin share that includes second class TGV Atlantique rail trip, accommodation in Lourdes, one breakfast and one dinner, two transfers.

The trip departs Paris every Wednesday from April 8 to October 21, 2009, at 9am and returns the next day at 8.30pm.
