THAI adds more capacity on Australian routes
Two additional flights will be added to the Sydney/Bangkok route vv from the end of next month, making Sydney a triple daily operation.
The extra flights will be added to the morning departure time slot of 0855, making this a daily schedule (up from 5 flights per week).
Flights will be operated by the new Boeing 777-200ER aircraft, offering a two-class configuration of Royal Silk Business Class and economy class with all passengers having access to the latest inseat entertainment and facilities.
Travellers now have 3 daily options to travel to THAI’s expansive international network: –
0855 hours departure connect to Thailand domestic destinations, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, the Middle-east, India, Myanmar, Pakistan and Hong Kong.
Afternoon 1700hrs departure connects to 12 European cities including London, Paris, Rome, Madrid, Milan, Moscow, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Frankfurt, Munich, Athens and Zurich; Los Angeles and New York; Johannesburg; Japan, China and other cities in North Asia.
The third overnight flight (via Brisbane) departs at 2100hrs and arrives Bangkok early the next morning with ideal connections to domestic Thailand, Indo-china and the mid-day departures to Europe.
These flights are operated by a 3-class Boeing 747-400 aircraft with newly-refurbished Royal First Class (flat-beds) and Royal Silk Class (capsule-style, lay flat seats).
The new schedule increases seat capacity for Sydney by over 500 seats per week making it easier for travellers to experience THAI’s legendary Royal Orchid Service.
Travellers from Perth will also benefit from the new schedule with a change of aircraft adding over 400 additional seats per week to the existing 5-flights per week rotation.
