Thailand considers World Expo bid
The Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) has launched the ‘Believe in Thailand’ campaign to strengthen the image of Thailand to event organisers in the region.
The campaign will involve a series of roadshows and familiarisation trips, as well as regional branding campaign from now until the end of the year.
Speaking in Singapore, Akapol Sorasuchart, president of TCEB, that the Thai government is going ahead with a feasibility study into the possibility of Thailand hosting the World Expo in 2020.
“We are pushing forward with plans to submit a bid next year,†he said.
