Thailand launches TV campaign in partnership with tour ops
Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) will launch a new TV campaign next week, called Open to the New Shades.
The colourful creative promotes Thailand’s rich diversity, focusing on scenery, spas, food and people.
TAT is working with four with tour operator partners: British Airways Holidays, Flight Centre, Kuoni and Thomas Cook on the promotion.
To complement the TV campaign, each operator has committed to supporting activity including digital and print advertising and in-store promotions.
TAT London director Chiravadee Khunsub said: "A campaign of this size demonstrates our commitment to the UK, which continues to be one of Thailand’s most important source markets.
"We look forward to positive results, helping us to achieve our goals of year-round visitation, increased spend and higher dispersal throughout Thailand."
The advert will run from Monday, September 3 for four weeks on ITV, Sky, E4 and More4 channels.
