Thailand’s Test & Go quarantine-free entry restarts next month
Thailand will reinstate its quarantine-free Test & Go scheme from February 1. It had been suspended due to the Omicron Covid-19 wave.
Fully jabbed travellers will then be able to enter with Covid tests taken on the first and fifth days post arrival. “In case there are more infections or the situation changes, there will be a re-assessment for inbound travellers and adjust toward the sandbox scheme,” Covid-19 taskforce spokesperson Taweesin Visanuyothin said.
The existing sandbox scheme will continue alongside Test & Go.
