DUBAI – Paris Hilton’s gushing endorsement of Emirates
Airline on social networking website Twitter was worth US$1.5m in free PR for the airline, according to a Dubai-based publicist.

The socialite and hotel heiress posted a photograph she took of the Emirates logo inside her first class cabin alongside the caption “this airline is amazing” on her Twitter page shortly before her flight to Dubai took off this week.

Beside a photo of her first class cabin, Hilton posted the comment: “so comfy”, with “huge” the caption on another picture of her cabin.

Paris recently said Twitter was “her new-found love”.

“I got obsessed with Twitter about a month ago,” she said. “I didn’t know what it was before but now I know and I’m signed up I do it all the time. Constantly. I Twitter about everything!”

Hilton flew to the UAE to promote a new series of her hit reality television show ‘My New BBF’, which is being filmed in Dubai over the coming weeks and sees the celebrity socialite search for a new best friend forever (BFF).

She also announced that while in Dubai she would be looking at property investments, including a hotel investment.
