The Appointment Group buys smaller TMC
Travel management company, The Appointment Group, has acquired ET Travel in a cash/share deal.
TAG says the combined business will create an independent TMC with global revenues of more than £125 million.
The move sees ET’s current joint managing directors, Ian Patterson and Glen Duckworth, join the main TAG board as joint chief operating officers.
"Having Ian and Glen on the TAG Board of Directors will be a huge asset to the combined business and will contribute to us achieving our strategic global objectives," added TAG joint chairman & CEO Maurice Veronique.
TAG has offices in London, New York, Los Angeles, Melbourne and Sydney, while ET has offices in London and Manchester.
