Go Adventure Asia has released details of several marathon and triathlon events now open for online registration.

Among these events are newcomers such as the Rainbow Run and the Khmer Empire Marathon as well as some of the most popular annual events on the calendar like the Mizuno River Kwai Half Marathon or the Angkor Wat Half Marathon.

The North Face 100 Thailand 2014, organised by Go Adventure Asia is now also available for online registration. The 2013 edition is sold out.

Here is the list of events:

The Rainbow Room Foundation joined hands with the coolest running group in Bangkok – Punky Runners – in organising The Rainbow Run Walk/Run for Special Needs.

The foundation helps raise positive awareness by sharing of information, experiences, encouragement and empowerment through a "parent-to-parent" model.

The Mizuno River Kwai Half Marathon is the oldest road race in Thailand. Organizer by Amazing Field with pioneering race director Songkram Kraisonthi.

The 32nd edition of the race will be held on September 15 with the start and finish at River Kwai Village Resort. The out and back course is one of the most scenic in Thailand.

There is also a 10km run on offer which uses the same course with an earlier turn around point. Entries are limited to 1,500 runners and the race has sold out in previous years.

Standard Chartered Bangkok Marathon is Thailand’s most important running event. Starting and finishing next to the Grand Palace the event offers a marathon, half marathon, 10.5km Run and a Walk and a Fancy Run. Elite runners from Thailand and abroad will compete for prize money and the King’s Cup.

The Challenge Laguna Phuket Tri-Fest incorporates the traditional Laguna Phuket Triathlon and the half iron distance Challenge Laguna Phuket in a weeklong triathlon festival.

The 20th anniversary edition of the Laguna Phuket Triathlon will take place on November 24 and the Challenge Laguna Phuket on the following weekend on December 1.

Registration for the Laguna Phuket Triathlon and Challenge Laguna Phuket 2013 opened last December and the Laguna Phuket Triathlon has already reached 50% of capacity.

Challenge Laguna Phuket has also seen strong early demand ahead of last year’s numbers and is also expected to be a sell out.

Accommodation specials are now also online with hotel rates starting at THB 5,780 per night.

The Angkor Wat International Half Marathon has been held since 1996 at one of the most famous heritage sites in the world, designated by UNESCO in 1992.

The 18th Anniversary Event will be held at the Angkor Wat area on December 1 in the Angkor Wat ruins.

The North Face 100 is part of six Asia-Pacific countries challenging runners to the 100km ultra distance.

The trail run is set in the spectacularly picturesque district Amphoe Pakchong adjacent to the Khao Yai national park and located around 200km north east of Bangkok.

Go Adventure Asia provides athletes the opportunity to register online for events across Asia.

For the majority of events offered on its website, Go Adventure Asia acts as the online registration partner for that particular event only while the event is organised by a third party.
