The chance to tour ANZAC sites

ANZAC Day in Gallipoli has established itself as the largest annual commemorative event undertaken by Australians and New Zealanders away from home shores, with over 20,000 Aussies and Kiwis gathering annually at ANZAC Cove on April 25th to commemorate the courage and sacrifice of our forefathers on those forbidding shores.  

Today, ANZAC Day has come to symbolise ties of mutual respect between Australia, New Zealand and Turkey born in crucible of the ferocious battle  for Gallipoli which began in April 25th 1915.

Greece and Mediterranean Travel Centre has an extensive range of 14 ANZAC tour options for Turkey in 2007, including a large selection of budget and first class tours from $249.

Tour choices also include Turkey and Greece combinations and tours range in duration from the two day ANZAC Experience Tour from Istanbul to Gallipoli priced at $249 ranging to a 16 day ANZAC and Greek Island Hopping program priced at $3,265 pp. twin share.

This tour operates between 20-26 April.

Other Six Day Options include:

** The ANZAC  Taste of Turkey: 20-26 April, includes Istanbul, Gallipoli and Pergamum; and

** ANZAC Essential Turkey: between 22-28 April includes Istanbul, Gallipoli, Hellespoint and Troy.

Both tour options are priced at $895 pp twin share.

Seven Night Option includes:

** The ANZAC Wonders: 22-29 April includes Istanbul, Gallipoli, Hellespoint, Pergamum, Ephesus and Kusadisi from $1,243 pp twin share.   

All the above programs include first class accommodation.

Greece and Mediterranean Travel Centre Budget ANZAC Tour Options include:

Basic ANZAC 4 night tour:  22-26 April, Istanbul to Gallipoli rtn. from $452 pp twin or triple share; and

Historic ANZAC Tour: 11 nights 21 April – 05 May includes Istanbul, Gallipoli. Ephesus, Fethye, Olympus and Cappadocia from $1,109 pp twin or triple share.

Budget Tours are based on three star hotel accommodation.
