South Korea’s premier 5-star hotel The Shilla Seoul is joining a “once-in-a-lifetime” promotion offering rooms at the rate of just US$19.28 to commemorate the 80th anniversary of luxury hospitality group The Leading Hotels of the World (LHW).

The astounding offer will be released online on a first-come-first-served basis at 12 noon GMT on October 1st, 2008 at www.lhw.com/1928.

The Shilla is joining hundreds of the world’s leading hotels in the celebration by offering two rooms at the unprecedented rate.

The promotion is on offer for just 80 hours following the launch at www.lhw.com/1928.

Lucky winners can reserve a maximum of two nights at US$19.28 a night (exclusive of taxes, VAT or other supplemental charges) between November 16 and 30. Additional nights can be secured at the hotel’s standard rates.

For access to the special rate and ease of expediting the reservations process, individuals are encouraged to pre-register at www.lhw.com/1928.

The promotion is supported by an intense global public relations campaign highlighting member hotels of The Leading Hotels of the World.

Room rates at member hotels of the LHW brand generally start at around US$450. The promotion “serves as a thank you to travelers for their loyalty and support throughout our 80-year history”, says LHW.

The Shilla is one of Asia’s most admired hotel groups, renowned for luxurious accommodation with state-of-the-art facilities, high-end technology and discreet, personalized service.
