The Top Ten Hollywood movies ordered in hotel rooms

The Hollywood movie that hotel guests rented most in their hotel rooms in 2011 was Universal Pictures’ Bridesmaids.

LodgeNet compiled the Top 10 list of most-ordered Hollywood movies based on its pay-per-view movie sales.

LodgeNet provides pay-per-view services in 1.6 million rooms in Holiday Inn, Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt and other hotels.

The comedy, about a down-and-out maid of honour on a mission to give her best friend a wedding to remember, was directed by Paul Feig and distributed by NBC Universal.

The Top 10 most popular on-demand theatrical movie titles in 2011:

1. Bridesmaids (Universal Pictures)

2. The Hangover Part II (Warner Bros.)

3. Limitless (Relativity Media)

4. Fast Five (Universal Pictures)

5. Little Fockers (Universal Pictures)

6. Just Go With It (Sony Pictures Entertainment)

7. The Lincoln Lawyer (Lionsgate)

8. No Strings Attached (Paramount Pictures)

9. Hall Pass (Warner Bros.)

10. Life As We Know It (Warner Bros.)

A total of 37 movies grossed more than $1 million apiece in 2011, which LodgeNet says is a record for the company
