The Travel Corporation teams up with food experience app VizEat
The Travel Corporation has announced a tasty new partnership with culinary experiences platform VizEat.
The global pact will allow customers of TTC travel brands to enjoy culinary experiences in each destination, provided by the platform’s 22,000 local hosts in 110 countries.
The VizEat app was launched in Paris in 2014 and is now a leading global meal-sharing platform.
The partnership kicks off in the summer on selected trips or as optional experiences across TTC brands, which include Insight Vacations, Trafalgar, Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection and Evan Evans.
"Our partnership with VizEat will enable our guests from across our 30+ TTC travel brands to discover amazing and fun culinary experiences in each destination that we visit, while also interacting with the local people and creating unforgettable memories," said Brett Tollman, CEO of TTC.
"We share similar values by offering experiential experiences and meeting like-minded travelers from around the world."
Immersive food experiences via the VizEat app range from cheese tasting in Paris, joining a Tuscan chef’s table and pasta-making in Rome.
"We’re thrilled to announce this global partnership with TTC and this marks a great opportunity for more travelers worldwide to have the chance to uncover immersive culinary experiences with locals wherever they go," said Jean-Michel Petit, CEO of VizEat.
