The Travel Network Group announces annual conference at sea
The Travel Network Group will hold its two-day conference next year on Celebrity Eclipse, sailing from Southampton to Le Havre and back.
The event will take place from Sunday May 8 to Tuesday May 10, 2016.
The Group’s conference team attended the cruise line’s recent two-night taster cruise onboard Eclipse last weekend. Group managing director Gary Lewis said: "We made a commitment to our members some years ago that we will always try and find destinations for our conferences that are less mass-market and ones that they may not have visited before.
"Lake Bled and Split last year were popular destinations in this respect, and we believe that taking the conference in a new direction with Celebrity Cruises for next year will present us with another perfect backdrop against which to host another successful conference."
He said delegate rates will be heavily subsidised, as in previous years.
"We are currently working on providing an action-packed conference agenda, with hard-hitting business sessions and opportunities for delegates to learn and gain new insights into new market trends and developments," he said.
"We are hoping that the Sunday to Tuesday event will prove attractive for members and business partners, and the fact the conference will conveniently depart and return to Southampton will attract even more delegates."
The Travel Network is aiming for 400-plus delegates.
