The Travel Network Group eyes new members
The Travel Network Group is to stage a series of open days targeted at new entrants to the independent travel market, as well as established businesses that might want to join.
The open days will take place at the group’s offices in Woking with the first one being hosted on Friday, January 26. It will begin with lunch (optional) at 1pm, with presentations starting at 2pm and a finish time of 4pm.
All events will focus on the benefits associated with all of the group’s core brands of Worldchoice, Worldchoice Plus, The Travel Trust Association (TTA) and Independent Travel Experts (ITE), although the first event will predominantly concentrate on TTA membership.
The next recruitment day event will focus on the Independent Travel Experts brand and is planned for February, in central London.
Invitations have gone out to over 200 prospective new members inviting them to attend the event the first event.
The theme of the day will be ‘Journey to Success’ and will inform attendees of the many benefits available to those seeking to make a career in travel, and the benefits of partnering with The Travel Network Group.
Existing travel business owners that are also in discussions with the group about joining, are also invited to attend.
Group membership services director Lisa Henning said: "We continue to work hard to make sure that we attract a number of new TTA members a year. In 2017, we welcomed over 287 new members to the group overall.
"Our open days are a new initiative that we will use to share our passion, expertise, skills and knowledge with those looking to enter the market or those looking for an alternative travel partner to the one they are currently working with.
"Initial feedback from those we have spoken to has been really encouraging and we hope to have a full house."
