The Travel Network Group to make 15 redundancies
The Travel Network Group is to make 15 redundancies in its Woking head office as the coronavirus pandemic takes it toll.
The group said 15 employees, from all areas of the business, have undergone difficult conversations about redundancy.
"Over the course of the last few weeks we have been talking about crisis planning and, of course, we too have had to pull together a plan of how we can protect our business at this time," it told its members.
"I am sure you will understand our position and that our focus has to be on protecting our group at this time, whilst ensuring that we have a robust business in place for when market conditions improve, and we are through this period.
"Our unwavering focus continues to be on supporting you, our members, at this time, and I hope you feel that we are achieving this through our efforts to keep you updated with advice and guidance."
The group said it was speaking to many members every day and knows the issues they are facing during these unprecedented times.
